On December 9, 2021, NAPIPA’s San Diego chapter joined forces with our sister diversity bar organizations (Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego, Korean American Bar Association of San Diego, Korean Prosecutors Association, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, and South Asian Bar Association of San Diego) for our annual holiday fundraiser and mixer at Societe Brewing Company. This year we raised funds for Friends of Scott, an non-profit organization aimed at supporting children with cancer and their families. We had a great turnout and it was so great getting to see everyone. We also had a couple of distinguished guests, including San Diego Superior Court Judges Rohanee Zapanta and Mark Cumba (former San Diego chapter board member).
